Jarlix Importer ("the App") provides product import and synchronization services to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

1. Personal Information the App Collects

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:

• Shop Information: We collect data about your store, such as your store name, email, and primary domain, to verify your identity and manage your subscription.
• Product Data: We access and modify your product listings, inventory levels, and collections as part of the App's core functionality (importing/syncing).

We do NOT collect sensitive personal information from your customers (such as credit card numbers). We only process data necessary to perform the import and sync tasks requested by you.

2. How We Use Your Personal Information

We use the personal information we collect from you and your customers in order to provide the Service and to operate the App. Additionally, we use this information to:

• Communicate with you regarding your account or support requests;
• Optimize or improve the App;
• Provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

3. Sharing Your Personal Information

We do not share your personal information with third parties, except as described below:

• Shopify: We share information with Shopify to power the App's functionality within your store.
• Legal Compliance: We may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

4. Data Retention

When you use the App, we maintain your import history and basic shop information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. Temporary files uploaded for import are automatically deleted from our servers after processing.

5. Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
